What is the NSCA?
As a worldwide authority on strength and conditioning, the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) supports and disseminates research-based knowledge and its practical application, to improve athletic performance and fitness.

The NSCA brings together a unique and diverse group of professionals from the sport science, athletic, and fitness industries. Members are comprised of strength and conditioning coaches, personal trainers, exercise physiologists, athletic trainers, researchers, educators, sport coaches, physical therapists, business owners, exercise instructors, fitness directors, and students training to enter the field. Check the NSCA Website for more information.
NSCA Position Statements
The NSCA has a strict code of ethics, guidelines and position statements for Strength and Conditioning Specialists and Personal Trainers.
