What
is the NSCA?
As
a worldwide authority on strength and conditioning, the
NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association)
supports and disseminates research-based knowledge and
its practical application, to improve athletic performance
and fitness.
The NSCA brings together a unique
and diverse group of professionals from the sport science,
athletic, and fitness industries. Members are comprised
of strength and conditioning coaches, personal trainers,
exercise physiologists, athletic trainers, researchers,
educators, sport coaches, physical therapists, business
owners, exercise instructors, fitness directors, and students

NSCA Position Statements
The NSCA has a strict code of ethics,
guidelines and position statements for Strength and Conditioning
Specialists and Personal Trainers. NAPAH especially recognizes
the position statements based on literature reviews for
"Youth Resistance Training", "Strength
Training for Female Athletes" and "Health Aspects
of Resistance Exercise and Training." Review all
