How do I know what level to register my child?
Simply click on the progressive tennis link and follow the info. that is provided to help you and your child understand the new progressive tennis training program that is being offered and in place to help your child learn, enjoy the game and continue playing.

Players will receive a progressive tennis certificate for their level that will help both the player and parents understand their child's strengths and weaknesses throughout the sessions and whether their child is ready to move to the next level or repeat the session to help them improve and prepare the child for the next level.

An on-court skills review test will be provided to all players prior to receiving their certificate with a recommendation for their next session. This progressive tennis certificate should be kept and returned to the instructor/coach for the next session and can be used during the child's participation with the City of Mississauga Tennis Indoor Fall and Winter Programs.

For the progressive tennis programs the maximum number of participants is 10 and is on a first come, first serve basis. The minimum number of participants that will be accepted in order to run the classes or clinics will be 3. As for semi-private classes it would range from 2-4 players max. What does my son/daughter need to bring to the class/camp?
For programs it is important that your son/daughter brings water or juice as well as their racquet, a hat, towel and sun block for the hot and sticky days that they will be on the courts with the pro. For the camps they will need to bring some snacks that they can have during the breaks. It is also important that they are wearing the proper non-marking shoes suited for tennis along with socks. Sandals, slip-on, flip flops is not allowed on the courts. Tennis balls with any other tennis equipment that will be needed for the lessons will be supplied by the pro. If your son/daughter does not have a racquet or is bringing an adult racquet for the first class then feel free to ask or contact the pro regarding any questions you may have for the proper racquet that would suit your child(s) lesson or for yourself.

What is the rain policy for classes, lessons or camps?
If in the event it should rain the pro will contact you as early as possible to cancel the class and have a make-up class rescheduled at a later time and date towards the end of the sessions. Due to weekly half-day tennis camps there are no possible make-up classes.
Should it rain but clear up then most likely the class will run but again the pro will make the final decision to be sure that the court is safe to run the classes.

What if I need to cancel and pull my kids out from the program, are there refunds?
If in the event you need to cancel your registration please be sure notify Top Spin no later than 1 week prior to the first day of class for a full refund.
Any last minute cancellations less than 1 week prior to start of programs will only receive a 50% refund.
